Two words. One intention.

Bloom represents the personal journey of individual creativity and the development of personal crafts and hobbies. It is the foundation of self-expression and the spark that ignites a passion for making and creating.

Bio
I grew up in church, learning from my granddad and parents that community means showing up and going the extra mile, but I also saw around me many things that I felt were unjust. My journey is rooted in the intersection of leadership development, politics, justice, faith and community. A politics BA, theology MA and seven years of community organising have taught me that justice means asking why, exploring how systems shape society, that faith has something to say in it, and that bringing your whole self to movement building means people with lived experience should always be at the very heart of action.
I'm an educator, entrepreneur and facilitator who believes that transformation starts with honest stories, shared spaces and small, consistent acts of courage. I hold space for people to bloom into their fullest selves, believing that when people bloom and kith, the communities and systems around them change too.
My Approach
I work from the conviction that people make up the systems, and the systems make up society. My approach is relational and locally led: sharing power, developing leaders, and strengthening institutions so that knowledge doesn't walk out the door when one person leaves, and institutional power doesn't fracture relationships.
I help institutions continue to hear voices from the margins. I work with the leaders of those institutions to strengthen their voices and leadership so that everyone can flourish. Whether through organising, facilitation, craft or dance, I believe liberation is embodied. It is practised in the body, articulated through voice and story, demonstrated through the hands and action — both internally and in the neighbourhood, not just on paper.
